Application Methodology

Ensure the substrate surface is dust free, free from all protruding and freely attached material, nails, mesh etc. Ideally the concrete surface should be free from any mould oil.
Use a good quality paint brush. The used brush should be cleaned with enough quantity of water immediately after use
Stir the contents of Gyproc^® BOND it thoroughly before use and apply evenly as a single coat application of BOND it thoroughly before use and apply evenly as a single coat application
Apply with even distribution of fine aggregates over the surface
Allow it to dry thoroughly for around 24 hours. However this can vary depending on both environmental conditions and ventilation
Now the surface is ready to apply the gypsum plaster within 10 days
Recommended thickness for applying Gyproc^® Plaster in ceilings is 8-10mm

Common issues faced while surface preparation:

Providing mechanical key by means of hacking
Cleaning of surface to make it free of shuttering oil
