Gyproc® Moisture Resistant (MR) Board is a special Gypsum board with water repellant silicone additive making it suitable for use in wet/moisture-prone areas like bathrooms, kitchens, toilets, open balconies etc.
Characteristics
- Gypsum core protected by water repellent additive
- Lined with water repellent paper linings
- Absorbs less than 5% water by weight in 2 hours*
- Minimal chances of fungal growth
- Can be painted with almost all decorative paints
- Can be loaded with tiles, granites, stone etc
- Rated as class 1 in fire resistance **

Technical Specifications and Standards:
- Absorbs less than 5% water (by weight) in 2 hours during Total Immersion Test (BS 1230, part 1, tested for 2 hrs + 1 minute)
- Absorbs less than 160gm/m2 of water during Surface Absorption Tests
- Thermal Conductivity : 0.16 (W/m°K )
- Tiles up to 12.5 mm can be fixed using 3mm adhesive
- Server Rooms (Low temperature maintained)
